I have been with the company since 2005 and enjoy meeting customers all over the country, both old and new. My varied role means a week can include product demonstrations, training sessions, customer care visits and networking events or exhibitions
I also liaise on a regular basis with our Support and Development Teams to make sure customer feedback is channelled to the right place, and customers are up to date with the latest developments and plans.
Away from the office I enjoy spending time with my family and running with Fleckney & Kibworth Running Club. After starting out as a complete beginner in 2012 I have now completed a number of marathons including London and my hometown York.
I joined the team at Firststeps Software in November 2013 after graduating from De Montfort University and am really enjoying my role as Technical Support Analyst. I enjoy dealing with our customer’s problems and helping them to find a solution along with the rest of the support team. Away from work, I enjoy playing football, gaming and spending time with friends and family.
Having worked at FirstSteps since 2005 I have found it to be an incredibly rewarding and stimulating role. The challenging nature of the job means that no two days are the same. Working in a close knit and dedicated team means that we all pool our knowledge and resources together resulting in a quality service.
Away from work I enjoy running and playing football with my colleagues. I like to feel that we are a team in every sense of the word!
I have relished every minute developing this company and turning FirstSteps into a market leading product for the childcare sector. The drive and determination is a team effort and I believe is reflected in the service we provide to our customers.
Spurred on by family and employees I have been bitten by the keep fit walking and running bug. Climbing Ben Nevis and completing my first half marathon have been my latest achievements but watch this space for more exciting things to come.
They tell me that behind every great man there is an even greater woman. I am not sure if that saying is true but in this case there is certainly a great team here at FirstSteps. From a computer programming and financial aspect I enjoy doing my bit and am proud to be part of the company.
When not on duty I enjoy visiting places of interest with family and friends and also keep fit by attending the gym and belonging to a local walking club.
Working for FirstSteps since 2008 has been an awesome experience. I have been trained to apply my skills to assist our customers in the best way possible which I really enjoy. The team I work with is so supportive and dedicated to providing excellent service. Even when the work is intense and demanding it is never unmanageable because there truly is team spirit in our office. It’s like working with family!
When I am away from the office I love to hit the gym. I also have a strong interest in football, Manchester United being my headline team without doubt. But nothing comes close to spending quality time with my family and friends.
I joined FirstSteps in November 2013, after leaving my previous role in education. I am really enjoying the challenging but rewarding role as Customer Support Technician in the nursery sector. In a job like this no two days are the same, which means we all come together as a team to provide the best customer service possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 2 young daughters and following my beloved Leicester City Football Club.
I joined FirstSteps in 2015 as Development Manager at a very exciting time for the company, working on launching our successful Monitor/Tracker/Parent Link apps. It is incredibly rewarding to be able to contribute towards products that make our customers lives better and help them achieve their goals.
Outside of work, I am an avid reader and enjoy spending time with my family, especially my baby daughter.
I have been supporting our customers since 2001 helping them deal with the ever increasing demands of childcare management administration. Helping people to get the most from their software is what we do.
